The Howard League: Community Programmes Award 2012

MJW attended the Howard League Community Programmes Awards 2012 at the Kings Fund today. It was fantastic to see so many programmes doing such good work and making a difference. Here are a list of the winners and runners up.

Adult Category

Runner up – Yorkshire and Humberside Circles of Support and Accountability (YHCOSA)

Winner – Northumbria Probation Trust – ‘Solo’ one to one programme for domestic violence perpetrators

Women Category

Runner up – ADVANCE – Minerva Women’s Community Project, Hammersmith

Winner – Eden House Bristol

Children and Young People

Runner up – Wessex Dance Academy

Runner up – Safer Neighbourhoods, North Lincolnshire – Youth Offending Bulglary Project

Winner – Action for Children – Intensive Fostering, Wessex

Education, training and employment catgory

Runner up – ESCAPE Family Support – Education, Training and Employment

Winner – Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust – Learning, Employment, Accomodation and Finance (LEAF) Service

Unpaid Work

Runner up – Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust – The Building Confidence Project

Winner – Plymouth Youth Offending Service – Allotment Project
